1982 Multiquímica Dominicana S. A. is founded in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

1984 Startup of first plant for polymerization of waterborne resins for paints and coatings in Haina Industrial Zone, Dominican Republic.

1985-1990 Polymerization plant additions with startup of production lines for alkyd resins, polyester, polyurethane rigid foam system and plasticizers.

1992 Startup of the first PVC compounding plant in Haina Industrial Zone, Dominican Republic, under the name of Compuestos Dominicanos, S. A.

1993 Installation and startup of a new plant for the production of alkyd resins and polyesters in Haina Industrial Zone, Dominican Republic.

1994 New company and business unit, Doperco S. A., for the distribution of raw materials in the Dominican Republic.

1996 Revamping and addition of new production lines in the PVC compounding plant; great development of product portfolio, including the whole flexible and rigid PVC compounds.

1997 A distribution center is started in the Dominican Republic.

2000 Startup of a state of the art rotomolding plant.

2002 SAP R3 system startup.

2003 Multiquimica acquires an emulsions synthesis plant from the Dow Chemical Company in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.

2005 A bulk-liquid raw materials discharge and storage terminal is constructed and starts operations in Rio Haina Port, Dominican Republic.

2008 Multiquimica makes an important placement of bonds in the Dominican stock exchange market.

2009 Multiquimica acquires the emulsion business of Clariant for Central America and the Caribbean, including the facilities and offices in Guatemala.

2010 Startup of a new PVC compounding plant in Guatemala.
