They are synthetic waxes in oxidized and non-oxidized form. They have a molecular weight of between two thousand and eight thousand, with melting points of 95 °C to 130 °C. They are mainly used in the production of rigid PVC pipes and in plastic injection molding, reducing the adherence of the PVC mixture in the transformation equipment and increasing production yields.
